Telkom today announced the appointment of industry veteran, Mr Attila Vitai as Managing Director of Telkom Mobile, effective today.
Mr Vitai brings a wealth of experience with a successful twenty year track record of senior management in the telecoms industry.
This has included twelve years at Motorola as a Vice President in Europe and eight years as CEO of two large Vodafone businesses in Hungary and Turkey, in both instances as a challenger in demanding developing markets.
This experience will be invaluable as Mr Vitai executes on his mandate to grow Telkom Mobile into a profitable and sustainable business in this highly competitive industry.
He holds an MBA which he obtained from the Henley Business School at the University of Reading. Mr Vitai is also a qualified chartered accountant had has obtained qualifications in BA Accounting and Finance as well as certified general accounting.
Mr Vitai has a reputation for being a very focused and successful executive, who has excelled in turning around companies and delivering strong results.
