Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ now available at Telkom

Telkom today announced its packages for the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+. The devices are available on FreeMe packages.

Customers who purchase one of these smartphones from Telkom will benefit from advanced performance and security features, coupled with Telkom’s ground-breaking data-first FreeMe packages and powerful network.

"We're committed to bringing the best technology with unbeatable value and convenience to consumers," said Attila Vitai, CEO for consumer and small business at Telkom Group.

Both new and existing Telkom Mobile and Telkom Business subscribers are able to access these packages, which are available on prepaid, hybrid and post-paid.

  • W-CDMA (Wideband Code Division Multiple Access), a 3G next generation network, including fixed voice services, data services and nomadic voice services;
  • mobile communication services, including voice services, data services and handset sales through our mobile brand called Telkom Mobile;
  • information and communication services including cloud services, infrastructure services, workspace services, global service integration management and hardware and network equipment sales locally, in seven African countries, the UK and Dubai through Business Connextion Group; and
  • other services including directory services, through Trudon (Pty) Ltd, wireless data services, through Swiftnet (Pty) Ltd.
